BEIJING， April 6 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli urged strict control on massive property development in the Xiongan New Area， a new development zone near Beijing， on Thursday.

He called for “reasonable pace of development” of the area， saying large-scale real estate development and illegal construction should be banned.
